Book Review - Paris to the Moon
Paris to the Moon by Adam Gopnik
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This was a book club selection. If I could give it 2 1/2 stars, I would.
A collection of essays and stories by Gopnik about living with his family in Paris for some years, Paris to the Moon tells tales of cultural differences between Americans and Parisians, dining out, raising a pretty precocious son and also a birth of a daughter.
Some of the stories were engrossing but others were a bit too long. Probably because I've never been to Paris so a lot of the detail was lost on me.
