Book Review - The Brass Verdict
The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly
rating: 3 of 5 stars
I really like the Harry Bosch books and he's in this book along with Mickey Haller. I thought I'd read the book that introduced Haller, Lincoln Lawyer, but I hadn't. It wasn't too hard to pick up the story though.
Haller is a high-profile defense attorney who inherits a fellow lawyer's cases then said lawyer is murdered. One of the clients is a very rich film studio head accused of shooting his wife and her lover.
Lots of twists and turns. Some I saw, some I didn't. I liked Haller and it was good to get a bit of Bosch though he's not the main guy here.
